Jagels Farms is a diversified agricultural operation, including irrigated white corn, yellow corn and soybeans; a cow/calf operation; custom fed cattle; and a trucking company. The farm is located in Davenport, Nebraska.

Mark and Suzanne Jagels are the fourth generation to farm in South Central Nebraska after they were married in 1985. Suzanne teaches second grade at Sandy Creek Elementary School and they have three sons – Derek, Brett, and Jason. Derek and wife Klaire, live in Geneva, Nebraska and he works as a Senior Merchandiser for AGP and she works for Dow, in the seed division. Brett and his wife Kristin and daughter Sawyer, live in Kearney, Nebraska where he teaches second grade and Kristin is a family counselor. Jason lives in Davenport, Nebraska and is the fifth generation to work on the farm. His fiance, Katie, is a sales representative for KRVN in York, Nebraska.

The farm has evolved over the years – with the start of no till farming in 2000 and GPS/Auto Steer in 2005. The Jagels’ continue to carry on the tradition of leaving the land they farm in better shape than what they started with for future generations.
